Goliath Off Road roof rack offers both: utility and ease-of-use. With a “drill-free” design it requires zero modification to your vehicle and gives you the ability to install or remove the roof rack in minutes. Extending almost the full length of the vehicle for maximum storage availability. With a weight limit of 200 lbs (dynamic) evenly distributed, you can toss all your camping gear that doesn’t fit into the Jeep, on top! Secure your gear by bolting into one of the 7 extrusion crossbars or by strapping it directly to the side plates. The rack mounts directly to the rain gutters, and front deflector was designed to minimize wind noise.

Side rails and front deflector ship bare steel or aluminum ( based on your choice) and need to be painted or powder coated, aluminum extrusion are anodized black.

Great Rack

It's about time I got to this review after receiving the rack in December and using it well over the past month or so.

First off, the folks at Goliath are super communicative and worked with me to make sure this rack arrived in time for my trip to Baja. The rack came packaged VERY well - I'm not sure I have ever seen anything like it. Boxes within boxes, packing peanuts, and some pretty clever placement. I'm enjoying the t-shirt, keychain and decals they sent along as well. :)

This rack needs to be painted unlike it's close competitor, but I feel like I came out ahead since I was able to do this quickly and inexpensively. Time will tell how my Rustoleum satin black (4 coats primer and 6 coats color) weathers over time, but it looks good right now.

The rack was easy enough to assemble, though my front mounts were a bit tight and needed to be finessed into place. I would suggest having some sort of flexible rubber tool dip (plasti dip is one example) on hand, because otherwise there is heavy metal to metal contact inside and outside the rain gutters.

Overall the rack did well in Baja with fuel, traction boards and a spare tire mounted to it. It is loud between 65-75 mph however.

The only suggestion I'd make to Goliath is to rout out some of the extrusion so that users could insert t-nuts into the bars without disassembling the rack.

Fantastic roof rack but….

Some of the best packaging I’ve gotten from anything. They really make sure it doesn’t get damaged during shipping. It’s really well made and sturdy but.. the lack of instructions at this price is kinda unacceptable and the pictures of the rack on the website looks like an older version because the one I received looked different in terms of the mounting brackets and speaking of that I didn’t receive all the brackets I was missing two. Oh and just know if you get the steal one you’ll have to paint it.

Other than that it’s a fantastic rack very sturdy and fits great!!!

Great communication with the folks at Goliath. Other than no instructions (it's not hard to figure out though), the rack came together nicely and is machined really well. Looks great too!

Love the rack so far! Going to mount my RTT on there today. I wish Goliath offered more accessories for the rack similar to all the options offered by JCR.
